My wife and I went there for the first time after we had heard so much about this shop. What we found was a spotlessly clean and bright, friendly family owned shop. Their meat pies being made fresh as we shopped as well as the reasonable prices and nice selection of British goods.If you have been going to another local shop for your pies and meats which does not have good reviews and is known for being extremely unfriendly as well as dirty, try this shop. You will not be disappointed. Oh...the food is delicious....a wee taste of home........!

I had a fantastic experience at this bakery! The customer service was excellent, and I placed a special order for Shepherd's pies, which turned out beautifully. My mother absolutely loved hers. Both of my sisters enjoyed the Forfar bridies too. The pumpkin and raisin scones were a big hit—very soft and delicious. I highly recommend ordering from this bakery; the owners are friendly and truly care about delivering great food and wonderful service!

We made a special trip there today because your website shows that you're only open on Saturdays. A sign said that you're closed and opening again on Wednesday. Just asking if you could please update your website so as not to waste people's' time. Thanks.

So I stumbled upon The Black Sheep after reading the reviews on Stewart's Butcher. Such a hidden gem!! Clean and well stocked. Very fresh and tasty too. Will definitely be going back for more links!!

CLOSED JULY AUGUST. Google/website hours not updated. Just sharing so nobody else drives 40mins out of their way. Reviews seem good though, so will try again in Sept.
