Black Swan Espresso Specialty Coffee And Tea

I’m an undergrad at RU, and was looking for some place with outstanding matcha… needless to say, I found one. Gigi made me my first 12 oz in September, and I haven’t gone a week yet without my midday latte. Her and her partner with the bright green hair (I know her name, but I’m not sure how it’s spelled—I’ll have to apologize later) make every single weekday a bit more bearable. Over this semester, they’d gotten to know my order, like clockwork—Gigi even suggested adding white chocolate to my boring matcha latte, to which I am now addicted. Not to mention the warm, welcoming service, even on the gloomiest fall days. If you’re ever on campus, try Black Swan. You won’t be disappointed!

I tried to reach out them on email, but they didn't respond. Hi, Black Swan Management Team. I came to the store yesterday trying to find one of the management team there. Unfortunately, nobody was available. Last Saturday my wife had one of your pastries (a scargot with some cheese on top....I don't know the correct name) and she's been sick since that, with stomach ache, vomiting and diarrhea for the whole weekend. Be more careful with what you guys are serving to your customers.

Great little cafe in the heart of Newark. Stopped in before my flight for an espresso and small snack. The blueberry muffin was amazing great ratio of blueberry to muffin. The espresso was also very good pretty standard blend. The toasted bagel with cream cheese was the best part. Not sure where they get their bagels but super good. The inside is nice with a small seating area as well as a nice outdoor seating area. Unfortunately no restroom. Great friendly staff.

if you guys officially set the time from 8:00am, then please be on time, your start time does not match the schedule that you have in Google or the one that hangs on your door, I don’t recommend to come here in the morning time because if you short on time, they might not be open! The small café serves delicious coffee with smooth flavors and a selection of tasty pastries. The baristas are friendly and welcoming. The only drawback is that the café is not wheelchair accessible.

They have the best espresso in NJ. And I drink a lot of espresso. Too much espresso. Addendum, 11/7/22: forgot about the crema. so much good crema.

Avocado toast with on request egg over it ! Adam did his best to get my request cooked and it was absolutely delicious ! Must have

Always out of stock of something. Don’t carry bottled water, no sugar available. Idk whats going on
