This charming pub is conveniently located right in the heart of Hertford. While it's situated on a main road, which can lead to some noise, its central location is a definite plus. It's particularly popular among the local youth thanks to a range of affordable drink specials, making it quite budget-friendly. The food is tasty as well, with great deals like two main courses for just £8. One downside is that the interior can feel a bit dim due to the lighting, but they do have a lovely courtyard area that is perfect for summer.

Staff are great very welcoming and a very fun pub quiz every week. Good place to watch sport or just grab a drink. The food is nice, albeit a bit inconsistent. A couple times a tad undercooked and the burger buns tend to be a disservice to an otherwise good meal. Still usually good and a decent variety of vegan options too.

Loved the atmosphere and the 2 for 1 cocktails. We had some food too which was delicious. When I asked to see a specific football match the staff was happy to help finding the right TV channel. The service was excellent, the toilets clean and I can't wait to go back after the lockdown.

I came here just to watch the rugby, so I didn't actually eat. The atmosphere for sports is fantastic, with plenty of TVs and seating options. The service was excellent, even offering table service for beer. Overall, it was a great experience. Reserva una mesa ahora

This is a lovely pub with a very friendly and helpful staff. The food is fantastic, especially the burgers. I highly recommend it for a family dinner or a night out.

I visited the pub during the jubilee and had a wonderful time. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I can't wait to come back soon!

Very quiet on a Sunday evening, but at least they were open, unlike most other pubs in the town
