I came on 21st and was greeted my a lovely member of staff he was a tall gentleman wearing glass think he said his name was Paul myself and my husband and 3 kids came for our tea it’s the very first time we have visited your pub and we really enjoyed ourselves the kids where playing on the playground and he came over and warned that there was a few issues with playground not been in uses we have a mix a up and a steak and 3 kids meals it was busy with the football but he made us feel very welcome
We attend this pub/restaurant regularly and in the past have found it acceptable but last time we were disappointed as it was not up to its usual standard. The place was untidy with used plates on tables, the cutlery was not wrapped and the food was barely warm also the plates were not hot. We overlooked that occasion but my friend was there since and said things had not improved so we will be seriously considering going elsewhere next time. There are 10 adults and 2 children in our group.
Came on Saturday for lunch. It was nice an quiet as still fairly early. Staff were lovely and food was delicious. Few little niggly issues, like no hot drinks as machine broken, egg yolk was hard on breakfast and the blue light discount didn’t work at the till. Didn’t stop us enjoying our food though. Everything was hot and well presented. Will certainly come again.
Excellent service and wide selection of food. Good vegetarian and vegan options, one of the best I’ve seen in a chain of pubs/restaurants. Paul weaver served us and his customer service was excellent, he went above and beyond. I would recommend coming here and we will be back. Thank you

On first entering the restaurant we was greeted by Paul Weaver. From beginning to end he gave us a world class customer service. Nothing was any trouble and checked everything was ok. He truly was a top class server and due to this I would happily go back. 5 Star for Paul Weaver
Had a family get together for a meal and drinks what can i say throughly enjoyed the experience food lovely drinks exceptional sam the manger brilliant and the rest of the team awesome definitely will be going back for more.
Awful just awful Waited 40 mins for food, only 2/3 dishes arrived. Then waited 4mins for cutlery. Still didn’t get 3rd meal before we left without eating! No staff to speak to, no light in disabled toilet. Avoid avoid!
We went to here on wed 25 oct and again 27. The food was excellent on both occasions. The service by a guy named paul, so helpfull. Our new meal venu e once a week from now on.

What a lovely late breakfast we had as a family in the blue anchor. Food was lovely and hot and service was brilliant! Will highly recommend.
