My husband and I visited this restaurant for a date night last Friday (3/17). To start, we ordered a braid, and it was just okay—not bad, but nothing special. However, my main issue arose when a group of people, seemingly known by some of the staff, came in with a child and a large doodle dog. They headed towards the back area where the hammock is located, but the dog began wandering unnervingly close to the kitchen. At one point, the dog slipped its leash and ran freely through the kitchen area. I’m pretty sure that’s a health code violation!

Very disappointed to hear of the treatment of a trans employee at blunt pretzels. Please do better.Your generic response “ Blunt Pretzels has always been and always will be a welcoming and safe space for all team members and customers. Come visit and see for yourself.” to each review is further demonstration of you gaslighting the situation. I believe in survivor’s stories, so I don’t need to come see for myself, thanks.

Pretzels are fine but the business is not LGBTQ+ friendly. Particularly unfriendly to trans folks. All in all not a good spot for LGBTQ+ people and allies. Edit: I cannot respond to the owner's comment but this simply isn't true and it is sad that instead of addressing these concerns they are pretending that the concerns I raised are false.

Very disappointed they have proven they are not LGBTQ friendly. More importantly, they couldn’t make their own Transgender employee feel supported, appreciated, or safe. Being LGBTQ positive and supportive is more than just checking the box of hiring an employee from that community. It takes showing up for them in all aspects. Reserva una mesa ahora

Known for their authentic pretzels, local beer, and age old transphobia. 0/10 recomend for queers and their allies. Also, if this business desides to respond to my emotional labor, please do so with something other than the same worn out meaningless phrase. Thanks, and have a lovely day.

Charming little spot away from the usual hustle and bustle. This restaurant is situated outside of the Asheville scene, offering a refreshing change of pace. However, I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit. If you're nearby, it's worth a try.

This is hands down the best pretzel shop I've ever been to. The pretzels are fantastic and the prices are excellent. P.S. I believe there are only two genders.
