Boboli - Reserva de mesa

We’ve been coming to Bobolis for 5 years now and the last few visits have been poor. Every time we come with our son, we’ve been put all alone on another side of the restaurant away from everyone else so there’s no atmosphere. The waitress wasn’t friendly and didn’t even acknowledge my baby. When another table came with a baby she was acknowledging them straight away. The food was ok but over priced for what we got. We’ve noticed the prices have gone up but the food isn’t better and service definitely isn’t worth it. A leisurely Sunday lunch, choice of roast beef, pork (porcheta) or turkey, plus all the trimmings at a very reasonable cost or choose from any of the main menu items. We had a special game terrine and a filo pastry crab salad to start followed by a tuna pizza and the roast porcheta. Sadly no space for desert, so we will have to go back soon! The porcheta was the star item, rolled pork with herbs and a generous helping of vegetables with a huge Yorkshire pudding too.

Attended 15.00 for drinks post sunny walk, outside had 7 spare tables, 5 with reserved signs, so sat at one without. Went in to grab drinks, ‘are you booked’ no we just want drinks. Well we are in the middle of a Sunday service, can you sit at a smaller table? There were none without reserved signs on- marched me outside to move me to a different table. Only wanted a quick drink. Felt so unwelcome decided to go elsewhere.

The pizzas at this restaurant are fantastic - made with handcrafted dough, fresh bread, olive oil, and intriguing authentic Italian toppings. Lovely place, knowledgeable and helpful hosts. Lovely food. Didn't feel rushed at all even though was a busy Saturday lunchtime. Had a perfect catch up with friends there today
