Just when you think Boboli can’t get any better it does! Together with its sister restaurant, The Lighthouse”, these are our family’s favourite local restaurants and the only ones we will visit at the moment with the stunning menu and the scrupulous cleanliness and screens separating the tables making us feel super safe. For our latest meal our group chose delicious meat dishes including pork medallions with truffle mash and steak with Gorgonzola sauce a change from the amazing pasta dishes and fish we often choose. I feel that the restaurant's rating should be somewhere between "Very Good" and "Average", but "Very Good" is a more accurate description. I came here for outdoor dining and the service was excellent - very attentive and friendly, which is always a good sign. The menu looked appealing and we enjoyed a couple of tasty cocktails. I was interested in the duck dish, but it seemed like it didn't come with any significant sides, so I also ordered a small plate of cannoli. My husband and I visited this restaurant last night. It's not in our local area, but we had heard great things about it and the drive was definitely worth it. As fans of Italy, we have traveled to many regions in the country on holiday, and this restaurant truly felt authentic. The food was fresh and expertly cooked, and the menu was very tempting. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and efficient. We had a fantastic evening and will definitely be returning, maybe for lunch next time. It was such a treat to dine out again and enjoy food that someone else had prepared. The restaurant also followed strict Covid safety measures. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience.
Had lunch at Bobolis as we were celebrating my mums birthday. It was Sunday and they had roast beef on the menu. The service was quick efficient. We all had the beef and the food was very good especially the beef. The portions were ample and I found it good value for money. Our favourite place to eat in normal times and today the takeaway was fabulous. Amazing food with well organised, safe, friendly service. This restaurant is a gem and we feel very lucky that it is in the village where we live. In these difficult times it is wonderful to eat such delicious Italian food. What a gorgeous restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, the setting is wonderful and the staff are lovely. Without doubt my favourite restaurant and will keep going again and again. Just don’t know if I can order anything other than the lasagna sounds boring but it is mind blowing.
