Boboli - Reservar una mesa

We live in the village so eat in bobolis or the lighthouse every couple of months. We’ve always enjoyed both but on this occasion only found bob’s to be ok. Food was ok, although the potted salmon was a bit too rich for our taste. The steak was ok but at £20 it was really nothing special and to be honest very gristly. We found the whole menu and the wine list very expensive with starters and mains with one (albeit pricey) bottle of wine coming to over £100 for the 2 of us. For the money you’d expect to be scoring much higher than 2 stars. Having to pay for sides when your main is already over £20 will always irritates me.

We have been a few times before and have enjoyed our visits so we were expecting to have an enjoyable relaxing evening. However the service was very poor from the start. We were shown to our table, given the menus and never asked if we wanted a drink. Eventually I had to get up to attract someone’s attention! The starter was.brought but there was no pepper and salt on the table! Again difficult to attract a waiter or waitress attention! At the end we got up to pay and the man at the till took our money never said thank you or good bye and we left at 9.30 and went home! A £100 not well spent and now put off from returning.

dear boboli but they should not change the dinge without warning: completely their testa rossa pizza changed, but the name not changed, so what a pfefferoni pizza was, has no pfefferoni more on it and does not wear similarity with the delicious original (very disappointing;) and secondly their espresso martinis have now frangelico in them (not a classic recipe and completely alters the taste m
