The Queens Head

Had a lovely visit to the Queen head for a spur of the moment dinner with the family. The food was really good and the service we had from the young waitress was very good. It was a homely feel due to the log fire and there was a sale on food which resulted in every one feeling full and sleep set by the fire.

Everyone in our party of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. Burgers, gammon, and the steak and ale pie was especially good (excellent pastry and tender tasty filling). Great range of local beers and efficient and very friendly service. What’s not to like?!

Came here from the local campsite on a Friday. Not very welcoming, very loud locals at the bar, and menu was very overpriced for just average sounding pub grub. Also didn't seem to have a kids menu?? Walked out after just 20 minutes to go somewhere else!

Managed to get a pass out from the kids…so off to our local! Beautiful pie, mash and veg and a burger for the hubby. Couple of glasses of Merlot and a pint for him. Great service and a fabulous family pub. What more could you want?!? … And these views!

Poor food and poor service on a quiet evening with staff chatting amongst themselves while on their mobile phones.
