We have been customer for many years. We enjoy the forwardness of the owner and he is very persuasive with offering entrees and extras.That's fine he is in business to entice customers and try new things. However, when a loyal customer informs the owner that we found the Prawns in the Prawn Masala to be too firm(over cooked) the last thing you expect is him coming out of the kitchen after showing the chef and saying they are fine as he presses it down with his fingers. Then he has the awedacity to ask us if we want to take the 4 prawns left back home. He agrees the chef cooks the prawns longer so customers wont complain of them being to soft as they think they are rare. Look, poke your prawn...
We love coming here. We used to go to this beautiful little restaurant when it was tucked away down the end of the arcade. We stumbled on it by accident and thought to give it a try. It was so traditional and the food was amazing. They have moved onto North rd now and we still go there. I brought my family there the other night and they haven't stopped raving about it. The food is amazing the staff are beautiful and friendly which made our night complete. Thanks for impressing my family.
This is by far the best looking Indian restaurant in Melbourne. It is immaculate throughout. It has the settings and decor of a fine dining venue. Gives you a great feel when you walk in tge front door. The meals we had were expertly cooked and beautifully presented. Even the garnishing is extremely fresh. Love the tastes sensations of all out meals, with the right dekicate "heat". Simply gorgeous dishes, quality all the way. Everything is just so very fresh and succulent.
My regular Indian restaurant closed down and there was suddenly an empty whole in my life. It took over a year for someone to recommend this place and it is by far the best in the area. They recently moved location (by 10 meters) and have a beautiful space worthy of a lovely family dinner. Highly recommend the fish Tika entre, the beef vindaloo is also incredibly tender and rich. Yum. They have BYO as well as nice wines at reasonable prices by the glass.

We've dined at this restaurant many times over the last 10 years and they've always been good and very consistent. Tonight had the Samosa, Tandoori mushrooms, Onion bhajis, Butter Chicken, Lamb Saag, Beef Pasanda, rice & various naan bread. Everything was very good. Total bill for the 5 of us was $121. The Bombay Club is the top of my Indian restaurant list.
We go here a lot and have been regulars for years. Cannot fault the food or the friendliness of the owner. But the delay between ordering and getting your meal has lately been taking longer. Might just be a staffing issue in the kitchen but...More
Love this place for more than 20 years. Great friendly welcome with food to match. Naans tonight were brilliant. Veggie delight with my sister tasting the pakoras for the first time, excellent. Wish I didn't live so far away!
Clean, pleasant restaurant with nice friendly service. The food was delicious and authentic. Had chicken tikka for entre and beef vindaloo and mutter pander for mains. Recommended.
