The staff were neither particularly friendly nor helpful during my visit. The menu on the board was difficult to read, and there were no other menus available, so my knowledge of the offerings was limited to pizza, although I did overhear another customer ordering antipasto. I requested one slice of mushroom and one slice of plain pizza, but was surprised to receive four slices, which explained the price. The pizza was fantastic—delicious and perfectly cooked. The garlic bread was warm and crispy, and the service was friendly. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because of the salad. Unfortunately, it wasn't very good. It consisted mainly of shredded lettuce, with just a few thin slices of tomatoes, mushrooms, olives, and an excessive amount of cheese. It felt like they used leftover sandwich lettuce. So, I wouldn’t recommend the salad. However, I will definitely return for the pizza and garlic bread!
The pizza from this neighborhood restaurant is our favorite. We particularly enjoy the Sicilian style. We've been ordering from this family-run establishment for over 20 years, which is truly remarkable. The only downside is that over the years, the pizzas have become noticeably smaller; the XL size isn't what it used to be. Despite this, we still love the pizza—we just find ourselves needing to purchase more than one now.
I ordered two slices of cheese pizza and a drink for lunch. The staff at Bonello's were all friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. The crust was thin and delicious, while the cheese and tomato sauce were perfectly balanced. This is my favorite local pizza spot! I love the sauce and the dough—it's just an all-around delicious pizza! The staff is always cheerful and friendly, which is an added bonus. While this place mainly offers takeout, I always make sure to grab a slice on my way home!
