My boyfriend was apprehensive about the place being a non-seafood lover and then doubly so when we pulled up and saw that is was upstairs in a strip mall. However, it is still a happening part of Brentwood and the scene inside is very comfortable and cool. We started with the cotija corn crema side to share (Delicious which was surprisingly not too decadent and mildly charred and delicious. I'm a small eater so I had the black cod lettuce cups as my entrée and WOW so good. Not sure if poached in butter but so flavorful and melt in my mouth. Bottle Fish is our preferred neighborhood restaurant in Brentwood. They serve fresh fish that is consistently well-prepared, and my children enjoy their kids' menu. We started with the tuna on forbidden rice as our appetizer and I ordered the miso cod for my main course. I frequently visit this restaurant when I'm craving a nutritious, fresh, and tasty meal. The wait staff is consistently friendly, and we are thankful to have such a great restaurant in our area.
The food and the ambience are pretty good. We sat in The bar for dinner, The female bartender had a major attitude towards us. Everything we asked her seemed like a problem for her. I asked her to wipe down the bar where we were sitting! It really ruined the whole evening, unfortunately. I spoke to the manager and mentioned this is the time this has happened to us there. He didn’t seem to care. Probably won’t go back
We had never been here before but we were looking for a seafood restaurant and they had pretty good reviews. Food was quite good, service was good and the ambience was nice with a comfortable vibe. No complaints other than it was a bit loud and slightly difficult to have a conversation without having to talk over the noise level. We still enjoyed the meal and the evening and Yes we would eat here again

The food was great! We enjoyed all our dishes. The service was great! I let our server know it was my birthday and he brought me a dessert of my choice to celebrate The ambiance at the restaurant is really lovely, very modern Only complaint was that we had some people sitting nearby and they got a little loud We will be back. and we already recommended Bottlefish to our friends
This was my first visit. I took my sister here for her birthday and we were both so impressed with the quality, delicious food and attentive service. I loved the ambiance
The food is excellent and the service is good! It may be a bit expensive, but we would definitely return occasionally for the delicious fish.
