Honestly, we came here to meet up with some friends to check out some cars on Castro Valley 's cruise night. The restaurant sits at an intersection where the parade of cars u-turn and cruise back down the other way- you get to see them coming and going, and from their outdoor seating area, it was a prime spot. We ate before we got here, but since we 're taking up their seats, we ordered up. My son ordered the Mexicali burger, and despite me being satiated from a previous meal, my inner fat kid said, let 's keep it light, we 'll get the cheesesteak sandwich. ... ...Aaand I finished it. The meat was a little on the dry side, and it needed more cheese. Offered my son a bite, and he just grunted...
I visited Boulevard Burger for the first time tonight and just returned. Overall, I thought they had a lot to offer. The vanilla malt was great, the wobbles and fries were tasty, and the presentation was okay. However, the burger lacked juiciness and was not served hot. This seems to be a common complaint among customers. I believe they should consider addressing this issue with their management by serving juicier burgers and possibly adding mayonnaise upon request. I absolutely love stumbling upon hidden gems, especially when I'm traveling. It can be tough to find a great place to eat in unfamiliar areas, but if you're a fan of burgers, this place is a must-try. I highly recommend the Boulevard Burger with Cheddar cheese – it's delicious!
The first time I visited, the service was incredibly fast and my burger was hot and perfect. However, when I returned with my girlfriend for a second time, it took 20 to 30 minutes to receive our food and it was cold. I didn't want to wait any longer, so I just ate it.

No condiments on Boulevard Burger, just lettuce and red onion. Easy to remove if needed. I didn't. Great for those with allergies. Onion rings are Great. Burger is Super. Yummy
This is my favorite burger spot in CV. The staff was really friendly and didn't rush us out even when we accidentally stayed past closing time.
Burger was ohk but something was off with the beverages. Tried ice tea and diet coke both tasted really off.
