Brasserie Blanc

Had dinner with friends after matinee at theatre. It was busy, but not so crowded as to feel packed. Had Prosecco as an aperitif though not very impressed as it was not as ‘dry’ as the ladies used to, and at high end on price. Mains of lamb, fish, chicken were all tasty and well presented (I noted the lamb must be a favourite, as was on menu some time ago in Oxford too) and sweets received praise. Good selection of wines by glass and bottle and service was very good. Overall cost quite reasonable for Brasserie and Cheltenham. We didn’t come away wowed, but we’re happy with choosing to try it.

Had a lovely lunch at BB last Saturday. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and very social, which broke the ice and made the lunch much more enjoyable than starchy. Alex and the rest of the team were very helpful with allergens and recommendations. Will certainly be back. The problem will be trying to order something different as I had the most enjoyable mussels ever......

Food was relatively good, but the chateubriand must have been really small. It was already sliced and both my son and I thought it was a miserly portion. Otherwise fine expected more being a Raymond Blanc restaurant.

The quality of food and service are consistently excellent. The restaurant has a nice relaxed atmosphere. This is our 'go-to ' restaurant in Gloucestershire.

fabulous food and service definitely worth a visit, we used a virgin experience voucher for 3 course dinner with wine
