We revisited this restaurant after an absence of about ten years and were pleasantly surprised to find it was still operating and a lovely place to dine in. With a choice of sitting on the open terrace, or within the exterior of the restaurant, it...has the delightful aspect of being right on the beach. Let us start with the plus points. The location is great! It really is on the beach. You walk down some steps from the promenade and there it is with great views over the beach to the Channel. We went on a Saturday lunchtime right...at the end of September. The place was still pretty full with locals with is usually a good sign. There were four of us. Two had oysters for starters perfectly OK said my wife). Two us us had the calamari. Awful certainly not home produced. like Iceland when they were dreadful! They looked like deep fried onion rings and were tasteless. For main courses two us us had the monkish and chorizo from the main menu. It was very disappointing and the fries were overcook...
We have been visiting this brasserie for the passed 10 years most October half terms and Summer. We always loved the atmosphere, view, staff, especially Sebastian. The food was good without being outstanding. We were very disappointed to see new management there but were willing...to give it a go. Sadly it was not very good. Mediocre to say the least. Presentation much better but the moules! The sauce had raw onion and celery in it. The cream was barely cooked through! The worst moules a la creme I have had in years. The service was surly and our waitress was a bit smelly! A lick of paint will not replace good moules frites or pleasant happy service! Not visiting again in a rush. Sadly
Arrived at 18:00. Asked for, and received, the menu and ordered drinks. Tried to order food at 18:20 to be advised that food was only available after 19:00. Sat in a cold wind from the sea until 18:55 and tried to order again. The waiter asked if we would prefer to be inside where it was warmer. We walked inside to be told they were fully booked and we couldn't be served. Went to L'Oh a la Bouche, just up the street, and had a brilliant meal.

a restaurant bar overlooking the sea but narrow room and friendly waitresses sneak between the tables. The dishes served a lot are good, but the next ones like the bread you need to ask to be of better quality or the small aperitive cookies served on the drip account. The evening spent in this establishment leaves a feeling of unfinished. a adviser on the way to merlimont but not expect a gastro restaurant.
We went back a year later, and it's always as good. the dishes are made with fresh products. a special mention for mussels chti way. Only flat, the fries are a little fat. We will surely return if we are again in the region. the view is fabulous, the service pleasant and efficient.
We returned 4 years after our first visit despite the change of names it is always as good.Good reception and good service.Five meals nothing to say we took two menus at 23€90 and we no longer had hunger after.All my congratulations
For the second time when ordering a round of drinks we were charged for a drink that we didn't have. A bit obvious when there were only 3 of us. The waitress just shrugged as if to say the scam didn't work this time.

disappointed with the dish (light support) and light dessert. On the global menu expensive compared to quantity. Positive point the view is magnificent and the proposed fish is good.
very nice reception for quite correct dishes. the highlight of this restaurant is especially its location on the beach in this small village with a very pleasant family atmosphere.
