Well off the town centre away from all those **** tourists this brasserie offers fantastic value for money with traditional French cooking. Run by Phillipe and his charming wife, who is the chef, the food is fantastic every lunchtime and changes daily. It is very popular with the French workers and with us two elderly Brits. Where else can you get a great lunchtime meal mid week to include a starter, main course, pudding, coffee and wine all for 13 euros. We have been married for over 50 years so I think it is high time I spoilt my long suffering wife, and at this price for this quality I can afford to as long as she behaves.

Really glad we did 4 minute walk from centre, great classic salad , quality ingredients, superb value for money, we did set menu , 2nd course usual fries delicious chicken, it looks like there are some 5 restaurants in Mirepoix but we didn’t want that we definitely found a gem
