Le Saint Maurice

at the entrance the first room is dark and not very engaging but we had the chance to be able to eat in the patio and there the frame is quite different. we were safe from the wind that was blowing on the terrace in front while being outside. The waitress was listening and smiling despite the number of customers. It is not about gastronomy but simple dishes, well presented and good. The kitchen team was a little "in the juice" at the end of service but only because of customers who changed their orders during service!!!! not top for the staff!

We had a really nice experience at Le Saint Maurice. We sat on the edge of the market square with a view of the Cathedral. The menu had enough variety for all of us. The portions were good and the service was fantastic. We are English speakers who know enough French to get by but the server was very helpful and so friendly. The cassoulet was excellent as was the hake (merlu). Yummy desserts. Good wine. We were staying at a house close to Mirepoix and this was our first evening in the area. It got our holiday off to a great start.

Tienen varios menús y carta, nosotros hicimos la formula plato principal y postre que eran 16.9€. Pedimos el risotto de setas, estaba muy bueno pero de cantidad un poco justo, y el cassoulet, era la primera que vez que lo probaba y me estuvo muy bueno, y muy contundente, bastante cantidad de carne, el pato estaba muy sabroso. De postre tiramisú casero, muy bueno y un café gourmand, para bajar el cassoulet, jejejeje, que buen invento este de los franceses. De precio un poco caro, para ser medio menú. Servicio atento y eficiente.

We ate a crêpe and an ice in the middle of the summer, it was correct without more. But the service. When you work in tourism, the least thing is to be kind and smiling.

In the evening, an endless waiting, an outdated service and cold plates for children!very on it with a good belly pain.
