Basically the owners have no idea how to run a cafe. Great views but dirty windows covered in cobwebs. Smashed avocado was puree out of a bag and revolting. Excuse was old ladies squeezing fresh ones and bruising them! So many obvious mistakes that they should have done a hospitality course first. Ambience is low, so nothing going for it. I can see why they are struggling. They won't last IMHO.
Then the owner came out and insisted he would have to charge me for my correct order because I had "eaten" the dish. I assure you, I only cut into one piece. He refused to refund me or replace my order. It was an absolute farce. I felt robbed. He took the food away, and I was left with nothing after paying $20 for an incorrect order.
I'm beginning to feel that the dining options in Harrington are all below average in terms of both food and customer service. I'm hopeful that tomorrow will be a better experience. I'm disappointed, as I was really looking forward to this break, but at the moment, I can't see any reason to return.

I had a fantastic Sunday lunch at Breakwall Cafe Harrington. The mussels were absolutely exceptional! The view from the upstairs dining area was delightful as well.
One of the best breakfasts I've ever enjoyed! The restaurant also boasts a stunning waterfront view. I would definitely recommend it—10/10!
Delicious hamburgers! They are a bit on the expensive side, but the incredible view makes it worth it.
