Brighton Jetty Cafe

Frankly we had a dreadful dining experience here, perhaps the worst in sometime. What a shame considering it has a great location. So where to start...the service was slow, um painfully slow and incredibly bad. We had to ask and wait for water. No jugs on table which was a bad idea because no-one ever refilled the small glasses!! The waitress poured the wrong wine and a different waitress brought out my prawns and said it was squid!!!! Now before I get started on the food I really need to mention that we had to wait 25mins or more for them to bring out a plate of 6 natural oysters and a prawn salad. That's plain ridiculous and also the cafe had only a few other tables of people to tend...rea...

bad meal and service ever experienced in adelaide; warm glasses; drinks (only offered) in 2.5 hours waited two hours for mains. homemade gnocchi home made in a factory of someone safe tinted crushed tomats over the top and a bit mozzarella and basilikum; would take 6mins to not make 2 hours. linguini tasteless a clam would not open; two floury little garnel and prob 1/4 cup tomato sauce; before the reception of net; after 1.5 hours complain to owners who spoke to someone for the whole two hours; except a plate of eating to someone. she heard and went away and never came back to ask for anything.. Before spending the afternoon with children and grandchildren on Father 's Day a week ago, my wife took me to the Brighton Jetty Cafe for lunch. We reckoned we had the perfect table, up a few steps and looking over the road towards the jetty. A great view of people, kids, dogs being blown about on that windy afternoon. Don 't be fooled by the name Cafe . Smart staff, food great, quality wines. Liked the Portuguese touch, (as has Hortas, an excellent restaurant at Port Noarlunga which we learnt is owned by the same person.

Without a doubt the WORST customer service my partner and I have ever experienced. We had the same waitress on both visits and she was blatantly rude on both occasions. With so many other options along Brighton Road there is no reason to put up with not just bad but horrendous customer service. Certainly will never return. Reserva una mesa ahora

it was the third time for my wife, first for me. only had net, but the lamb was good and snapper very nice in the did. look less interesting at night than during the day. the service was attentive without clogging. prices not cheap, but reasonable for quality, service and ambiente. I'm glad to go back.

Got takeaway fish and chips with some calamari rings tonight. Calamari was the worst we've ever had overcooked, dry and most of the batter had fallen off. Fish was okay inside the batter, but batter was way too thick, oily and some parts were uncooked. Chips however were great. Will not be back.

had a wonderful meal in the view of 85 caffe, I had a steak that was cooked to perfection and my man had seafood. service was fantastic and the cakes are amazing (homemade.) we will definitely be back, was simply nice to eat in the location and watch the sunset in such a beautiful place!

Tasty lunch of salt pepper squid and grilled lamb burger with fat chips. Good size meals. Topped off with nice coffees. Warm service from both waitresses. A great view of Brighton foreshore from inside the cafe. Enjoyable experience all round. Reserva una mesa ahora

Fantastic!. Not sure why I always see this place empty but the breakfast has got to be the best on Jetty rd! Came here after a long walk and was thoroughly satisfied. The eggs florentine is yummy!

wow! what an amazing Sunday session we had at this beach place in brighton. relaxed, super friendly staff and the most delicious tapis! I'm hacked!
