Brigs At The Park - Reserva de mesa

This used to be a favorite breakfast spot for my family when we were growing up in Durham, but recent visits have shown that it has declined in quality. One hostess in particular greets guests with a lack of enthusiasm and avoids making eye contact. Our waiter took our order but never returned. My grits were served cold and the butter didn't even melt. The hospitality that used to be a highlight of the restaurant is now lacking. As a former commercial banker, I have seen this pattern before and it often signals trouble for a business. It's a shame to see a place with so much potential going downhill like this.

On Saturday, I decided to visit this restaurant while waiting for my car to be repaired in the area. I couldn't make up my mind on what to order at first, but eventually settled on the waffle, 2 eggs (overhard), and bacon. The meal was incredibly tasty and left me satisfied for a few hours. The restaurant was very reasonably priced and I appreciated that gratuity was not automatically added to the bill.

I 'll be back ! I called to order a Malibu omelet with chicken added. Ida gave me a choice of chicken and offered a variety of side options. She also made sure I had utensils, jellies and sauces to go, if needed. I truly appreciate her cheerful, polite and friendly customer service. My day is off to a good start with Brigs at the Park.

best omelette in the triangle. not even a competition. I came to the breakfast at the first day they opened in 1991 and I have been for thirty years. my breakfast is a broccoli omelet with spiced fries and an English muffin. delicious. consistent good. This diner serves my favorite breakfast in the area. The pancakes are outstanding, the Eggs Benedict are fantastic, and the specials are very diverse. It's the only place that makes scrambled eggs exactly how I like them - soft and runny. It can get busy on weekends, but it's definitely worth the wait.

my daughter ordered the gingerbread pancakes and I the smoked salmon avocado toast. both meals were very delicious. also no complaints with service, distance or ambiente. but the person who stood most was the greeting. She was very kind and engaged even with my 8yo. I will definitely visit again.

this restaurant has the best omelettes! I have eaten here several times in the last 10 years and has not been disappointed. very recommended for breakfast and/or brunch.
