Everytime I went there (4x), there was alwa a long wait. There's usually 3 people there. A guy in the back cooking other things, and a younger and older lady up front, whom I believe owns the place. I really only want the chicken, but was told that I have to order fries with it. I'm not even supposed to eat fries, but I eat a few to feel like I'm not wasting my money. And they're shoestring fries which but hard. I wished they used the regular fries or wedges. I wasn't allowed to select the parts of chicken I want either. Chicken is already cooked and fries constantly made. Why do I have to wait almost 20 minutes each time? The younger lady won't serve me until the older lady finishes cooking...
I wouldn't say it's the best fried chicken I've ever had, but it was quite tasty and satisfying. The place is a dive, but the service was good. A one man show; an impressive and efficient guy who was attentive and quick. We ordered the 8 piece with a large fry. The chicken is small and tender (I hate chicken on steroids) fried nicely and crispy, but still moist. The flavor was very mild and it could probably be spiced a tad more, but hey, it's worked for them so who am I? The fries were underwhelming. Frozen matchstick fries, but fried well and crispy. Everything was fried perfectly; not greasy or heavy at all. An overall good experience. We'll go back. You should try it!

The older woman who works here is incredibly kind, and you can really tell she puts her heart into the food. She prepares everything right in front of you. If you're in a hurry, this might not be the best spot, as it takes about 20 minutes for your order to be ready. You can call ahead to place an order. I got two chicken platters, which came with three pieces of chicken each and a generous portion of fries. The chicken here is definitely the best in the area, not counting the big chain restaurants. My only regret is that I didn't opt for the eight-piece instead of the platter; you get more chicken that way! Reserva una mesa ahora
I've been coming here for many years, and I can honestly say it's the best fried chicken I've ever had. I've never encountered any issues at all. As everyone knows, perfect chicken takes time to prepare and cook—you definitely don't want to eat something that hasn't been made properly. If you don't appreciate it, maybe you should just head to the nearest gas station. But perhaps you wouldn't know the difference! Thank you for all the wonderful memories and for serving the best chicken around.
The chicken is cooked to perfection here—it's not greasy like at Popeyes or KFC. They pressure cook it with just a light dusting of flour and the right amount of salt, letting the natural flavor of the chicken shine through without overpowering seasoning. This restaurant has been in business for many years, and it shows. The fries are also excellent, and the prices are quite reasonable. I highly recommend it, especially since they’re open late!
