When we entered Buccelli's on a Saturday evening, it was eerily empty, which was our first warning sign. The food had no flavor, and the portion sizes were astonishingly small—I felt like I needed a magnifying glass just to see my meal. If this is representative of Italian café dining, then I certainly won't be planning a trip to Italy anytime soon. The pasta dish was not only tiny but also tasteless for the price we paid, and the excuses about being "al dente" and "authentic" just felt like a cover for poor cooking. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant! I visited with a group of 15 to celebrate a special occasion, and everything was fantastic. We had pre-ordered our meals, which turned out to be an excellent decision. I don't think there was a dish on the table that wasn't delicious. The manager was incredible and even played some cheerful Italian music to enhance the atmosphere. Many in our party enjoy spicy flavors, so we asked one of the cooks for their homemade chili sauce, and it had just the right amount of kick! Thank you for a memorable evening!
I really enjoyed this restaurant, but I wish they had more dessert options. I came here to explore Italian desserts. The atmosphere is wonderfully authentic, with Italian staff, English speakers who have an Italian flair, and charming Italian decor. I truly appreciated the good service; the Italian team took excellent care of us and demonstrated a great service mindset. I will definitely come back! On another visit, I tried the "cuore di cioccolata" dessert, and it was delicious—my partner loved it!

I was pleased with the starters; they were delicious. However, we had to wait two hours for our two main dishes. Apparently, the stove had broken, and they were trying to fix it. It would have been fine if someone had informed us about the situation, but nobody did. We could have ordered something else or chosen to leave since we knew the wait would be long. As for the mains, they were average, so I can't give a positive rating, even though the atmosphere was nice and the starters were good.

Charming authentic Italian restaurant. The truffle cream pasta was delightful, and the pizza and quattro formaggi were fantastic. The dessert was quite enjoyable as well. The staff were attentive (the gentleman was great, although the waitress could have been more so), and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We found the portions to be a bit smaller than we prefer. We will definitely return!
beautiful first visit! excellent, typical traditional Italian warm welcome in the city with traditional Italian cuisine given a fabulous modern twist! definitiw not their average high street pizza and pasta joint! the cannolo are manna from the sky! can not wait to go back, need to get sick to the deli to hon, just to buy more cannoli!

I had an outstanding experience at Buccelli's! The food was excellent, the portion sizes were generous, and everything was deliciously cooked to perfection. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help. I can't recommend Buccelli's highly enough!
