Cabane Des Violettes

I made a reservation, but they took it wrong, so I had to go somewhere else. it is already a joke that the fact that they have to book for a mountain hut, where they can eat the usual average meal. the fact that they don't handle it professionally...(not their phone number to call them, not with a software with written confirmation how many places do now) is just adding insult to the injury. If they want to behave like a high-strength location, they are responsible for it. the fact that they have more customers than they have to cover all their tables does not allow them to be unprofessional.

The rösti was delicious (see photo , the service was quite quick (the kitchen opens at 11:30 a.m. , and the location is great, with a panorama of the Alps. Music not too loud and possibility of paying by card. There are also toilets which are clean. The price was quite high however (26 CHF rösti, 4 CHF tea , but the view and the quality of service make the bill easier to swallow. In summary, I highly recommend this little restaurant on the slopes

Despite inquiring twice about the gluten-free pasta and getting full reassurance this turned out to be wrong... with all the consequences. A friendly mail to the management went unanswered. A second mail to the owner went unanswered as well. Despite the friendly service and good...food this restaurant is not taking allergens seriously, so if you are allergic to anything this is definitely not the place for you.

the portions small and during one of our party about the rosti rave the spaghetti bolognaise for Swiss franc was very small with no sose. a very good setting, but advice to the administration is to make the details as good as not good enough....Nice friendly and good covid measures. Sitting outside if the weather allows provides wonderful views. If not, then sit inside. Good choice of food and wine. Cheerful and helpful staff.

Honestly one of the best fondues I have had (aside form the ones we make at home). Great service and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

we waited for ever until an unfriendly waiter showed us a dirty table. after another half an hour, we're waiting confused.
