Cafe 4342 - Reserva de mesa

Had a great time at cafe 4342! The reviews called it a hidden treasure, and I definitely agree. From the outside you think it's just a lovely little shop, and then when you walk through you come to the dining area. The food is amazing! I had the portobello mushrooms for entree and the salmon for main. The portion sizes were pretty generous, so unfortunately I couldn't finish it all - but that doesn't mean I didn't try! Also had an affogato, which was served in a martini glass. While I didn't have it, a friend said the chicken dish (with wasabi and lavender aioli) was quote 'the best chicken he'd ever had'.

We took tourists to dinner at 3432. They were highly impressed with the standard of food and the locally sourced wine... they thanked the chef in person for the excellent meals and presentation. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the stars...but the indoor aircon seating was just as inviting and the gift shop items made for interesting browsing. The staff are exeptionally friendly and the owner is very attentive. We will definitely going back in the next few weeks to try out the lunch menus.

Had a wonderful meal in such pleasant surroundings. The food was amazing, the garlic bread divine but even better were the hot chips, oh my, they were the closest I have ever had to the ones when I was in Scarborough, UK as a child. The chicken was soft and succulent with homemade sauces. We will most certainly be back.

Coffee really good.Food was served beautifully and mine tasted ok. I have been here before for lunch and dinner... and lunch by far is amazing. It is my favourite cafe ive been too. Myself, 3 other ladies and a baby enjoyed a quiet walk around the streets of Forest Hill in the autumn sunshine then we stopped at the Cafe for morning tea. We each had a hot drink and a piece of cake and all of us thoroughly enjoyed it. The strawberry cheesecake, the rich fruit cake and my apricot

A surprising find on a country drive…more than just a bite to eat…locally made crafts available for purchase or just to enjoy looking whilst dining. Delicious lunch, refreshing cool drink on a hot day. Seating inside or out in a delightful courtyard. Friendly staff.

This cafe, gift shop, post office, and banking is a great place to go. On Sundays it's standing room only. The food is generally home made and coffee is great. The cafe has a wonderful array of gifts. It's certainly a gem in the country.

Excellent food in a quaint country setting. Perfect cafe style seating in a working Post Office and the gift shop. Has quirky and original menu that is sure to surprise.
