Some of the bar staff are very rude to visitors. Drinks are expensive and there is no price list so they seem to charge what they like with no explanation! The area outside is not very clean and there are a lot of flies so not pleasant. We have visited twice, once out of season and now in early September and will not be visiting again.
We had drinks in this bar as the market had just finished it's probably also only good for drinks, which are averagely priced. It was hectic, as was the service, but it seemed a bit like the place to be for all the locals...as well. Nothing special, just a big bar with a lot of seating and a large choice of drinks.
Inside, Cafe de la Paix is fairly basic but has a good vibe and attracts locals. Outside is a great place for people watching. The beers and wines are not all run of the mill and the prices are fair. They serve snacks including olives with...More It's also a good off-season spot.
