The last time we went to Gruissan I wanted to try this little restaurant as it seemed very popular and that is always a good sign. We ended up going elsewhere.... We recently popped into Gruissan again on a horrible rainy day and treated ourselves to a nice lunch here. Absolutely worth it. If you like mussels, you can have them here in a variety of flavours. I definitely would go here again. Also I was impressed by one waiter doing the whole restaurant over 24 covers) by himself friendly, professional, swift service and all with a smile!
We have visited this restaurant 5 times in the last 7 years, always for my birthday vacation, 2 years break because of COVID, but when we came back this year, we were welcome again, the staff are exceptional, helpful, pleasant and attentive. The good food is very well presented and the menu varies. Fantastic atmosphere and great for friends, families etc. We look forward to the next visit.
In search of moules et frites we chose the 18.50 Euro menu. I has a decent mozzarella and tomato salad and my wife had prawns. The mussels to follow were good. It was creme caramel or ice cream for dessert. With a litre of vin rose our total bill was 50 Euro. Friendly staff but no English spoken. Overall good value.
