The pizza that my wife ordered was great, but I decided to get adventurous and ordered the Andouilllette sausage. It was not at all like that I have had here in the US. My mistake, really, and I can't say that it was bad, but it was truly sausage in the traditional sense, with rather too easily identifiable 'parts'. If you want a beer with the locals go here. Good atmosphere and hub of village. And we saw a proper fight between a local man and woman. Not nice with kids about but hard not to enjoy the swinging (albeit missing) punches and French swearing.The food however is diabolical. Went first day as ravenous after flight and were escorted to a scratty looking courtyard around the back. We both had pizzas which were almost inedible and without doubt frozen. Incredibly hard crusts. Capo and Rita pizzerias in town produce so much better for same price.price.
We are staying just up the road so have tried various restaurants in the town, so far this has been the worst. It looked very good when brought to the table but I had the house burger and the bun was burnt to a crisp. So much that I couldn't eat it. Hubby had pizza and that too was burnt. Plenty of other places nearby that are much better value.
My friend and I had lunch my seafood salad was delicious and beautiful presentation. What should be hot was and the price reasonable for large full meal salad. Nice quite atmosphere even though several restaurants are son this small piazza. Locals as well as tourists seem to eat here. English spoken by friendly helpful wait staff

Go through the bar and outside to a lovely garden with a great play area for kids. Food was surprisingly good, particulalrly their plat du jour and the salads. Went back a number of times over a fortnight.
I love coffee in the morning with my Kindle, love an omelet for lunch or quick hangar steak with all the trimmings for dinner. Just a real local place in the middle of the square. How good is that!
We spent many afternoons enjoying lunch here, Marie is the best waitress in town. I can heartily recommend and evening in the garden enjoying some Brazilian jazz...wonderful!
More of a bar with food than a restaurant but simple pizzas and the like are fine and it is inexpensive if you're looking for a snack more than a meal.

Great place to sit and while away the hotter parts of the day and the cooler parts of the evening with a rose or a beer and to practice your French.
