Terrible service, food with no tase at all. The amuse bouche was the worst welcome you could have in a Michelin restaurant. Starter plate with morels is very very small morels exactly salmon was not properly cooked, even nuggets that we have...ordered for the kid were... nugget with a very debatable taste. The place is magnific, the castle is a great experience but sitting at a table that is very unstable and having it fixed after minutes, getting your food after aprox hour and food being miserable... that is no more a Michelin experience. The chateau is as beautiful as in the pictures, the dining room as well. The service is good but the food is not up to the standards. For a Michelin star it needs lots of work: the least they can do is offer butter with...the bread because this is the only thing that will fill your stomach, extremely small portions regardless of the chosen menu, prices are extremely high in comparison to the quantity, many Michelin restaurants put at least twice the quantity this restaurant serves. It is a rip-off!
we enjoyed the tasting menu of the cook, which was carefully thought through, very tasteful and well presented. it was surprisingly quite cheap for four cursor meal to this standard. the weeping list was good, and although I was not familiar with all the choices, the sommelier was...to support. we also enjoyed the breakfast next morning. simple choices cooked with eggs to order. again very high quality. waiters were professional, friendly and attentive.

we were here several times before and have eaten many places, but were disappointed this year. friendly, efficient staff, but dinner at our first evening was not very special, despite a fabulous environment with a view of the hills of beaujolais. eating was nicely cooked, but inconspicuous. unresolved help that would not be enough for everyone. they calculated separately for all Veg page orders.
We ate dinner here two separate nights during our stay. Food and service were quite good. There is enough variety to hold your interest across two nights, with good quality ingredients. But do not expect Michelin star creativity or panache. The dining room is also...lovely as a historic landmark.
Traveling with friends we had a very nice dinner at this hotel dining room. The amuse bouche was creative and a taste treat. The lamb and veal were superb. Service was friendly and very professional. The wine list was extensive with lots of Beaujolais as...one would expect in this region.
Staying in the castle was unbelievable but having dinner at the restaurant was a culinary brilliant experience. The chef Jene Alexander was magical the food and presentation beyond words . Bravo and the ambience and service impeccable. Truly a star Michelin dinning experience. Merci

When the first cure arrived, it looked like a taster. very small. but the spiced, razed frozen tomatoes were a breathtaking start. grew in portions and broth was very good. the wine pairing came from all over the world, including the locals. great atmosphere and good food.
the restaurant is currently not open to the public. it offers only a basic service for hotel guests. it is ok for the price, but does not fit into the hotel.
