A Wonderful New Orleans Tradition... Right in Metairie! However, on May 3, 2022, I found the men's restroom to be in terrible condition, and it seemed like nothing was done to address it. This was quite disappointing and discouraging. Unfortunately, in some unfortunate ways, it reflects an outdated and negative tradition in Louisiana.

The beignets were hot, fluffy, and delicious. They were a bit denser than I remember, and there are several places in Houston that serve beignets that are just as good or even better. However, they were still quite good, and I would recommend this location for its convenient parking.

Great spot for coffee and french donuts! It's styled after the original spot in the French Quarter, but this place actually takes card. It's a lean menu, that's a good thing. You get to watch them as they make your donuts fresh. Grab a cup if you can!

The original company for cafe au lait and beignets. Simple but delicious. Don't go to any of the wannabes. Cafe Du Monde knows their stuff and they are are simply the best. Reserva una mesa ahora

It was the first place we visited directly from the airport arriving in NOLA. We were delighted, the beignets are delicious. We visited two other branches

I had the classic combo. I very much enjoyed my beignets and café au lait. Because it's all hard surfaces, it was a bit loud.

Come to this one if you don’t feel like going down town, same quality and I believe to have better service.
