I walked in 10 min before opening and I was thrown out. I wasn't offered to sit inside while waiting even though 2 chairs are by the door. I waited outside and got back in 10 min later. I wanted to sample a few different things so I got the Pekin duck, the spring rolls and crab puffs. The crab puffs were surprisingly tasty. I enjoyed these a lot. The spring rolls were ok. But the Pekin duck was terribly disappointing. Dry and flavorless. The wrap seemed like a Mexican tortilla more than a Chinese wrap. I’ve been coming to Cafe Ginger for the last 5 years if not more. The quality of today’s meal and new chef are horrible. The food tasted so bland, beef was super dry and they got my order wrong and still didn’t take care of anything. I’m absolutely shocked on how terrible my meal was and after telling the waiter the restaurant didn’t do anything to make it up at all. I spent over $55 for a horrible dinning experience save your money and go to Mala Sichuan instead.
A great restaurant one of best kept secrets since they moved to new location. Easy to park, great food and service make it one of our favorite 'go to ' restaurants for dinner. If you are dining on the weekend, suggest you make reservations through Open Table. They seat us immediately when we have reservations. Wife loves the Sushi and I go for more traditional dishes. Wine fairly priced. Have not spoken with any of our friends who had a bad experience.
We showed up after Art Car Parade with no reservations and like 20 people dressed as zebras! They were able to seat us, get our orders taken and the service was impeccable even with such a big group unannounced (thank you to our server, Victor who took such great care of us and was so professional). I love the atmosphere here and the food is excellent. Always a good experience.

I have dined for both lunch and dinner at Cafe Ginger several times since moving to Midtown in 2021. The food is always excellent and the service delightful. I take friends there frequently. I also enjoy taken out from CG from time to time. Thoroughly enjoy this restaurant!Food: 5/5
Food and service was excellent and all the items was fresh. We had variety of items from vegetarian to meat and sushi. Each item was perfect and tasty. This is one of our favorite place for Asian cuisine.
I am so relieved that cafe would continue to deliver his wonderful food, although they had to be moved a few years ago. I love going there and it makes fun to be there with friends too.
Cafe Ginger is usually great. Food was off tonight- not as good as usual and several items were missing from my order
