This may be the first 5-star rating I've given. Deservedly. Cafe la Bellitalia seems to have captured a small corner of Italy (Sicily) and plunked it right here in Madison. The perfectly crispy thin crust hosts all sorts of great flavors, whether that be the cheese, nicely seasoned meat or fresh vegetables. But what really takes the cake (or pie in this case) is the marinara. Slightly sweet, a bit chunky and obviously homemade. Yum! Incredibly friendly service and welcoming atmosphere being this all together for a great option for pizza in Madison. Order the 16 , you'll be happy to eat the leftovers (if there are any) in the morning!
Simple, old school restaurant with good versions of Italian staples. The waitress (I’m sorry, I can’t remember her name) is wonderful. It’s like being guided through a meal by a good friend’s mom or aunt. Sh took great care of us.

This is probably the best Italian American place in all of Madison only place I know where I can get stuffed shells, that’s for sure.
