I would honestly give a 0 star overall if I could. The food has majorly declined in terms of taste. I went here with my aunts who cane over on vacation and I have been have many times pre-Covid and the food and service was amazing but I haven’t been here since Covid hit and wow it has gotten so much worse. I went there on a Friday afternoon there was only our table at the restaurant so very quiet and not busy at all. When my aunts and I were ready to order I kept calling the servers over (two present and the lady owner was there at the cashier). This restaurant only accepts cash or debit payments, and you must spend at least $25 to use a debit card. There is also a minimum charge of $5 per person. Unfortunately, the service falls short of what you would expect from a café in Toronto. On the positive side, the ambiance is pleasant, and they feature live music on Saturday nights, which was the highlight of our visit.

Cake quality has seriously declined over the years. We bought the chestnut explosion cake on Monday and it tasted previously frozen. It was so cold and stiff. The cake itself was very dense and dry and it didn’t feel like they used quality ingredients to make this cake. For the price, I would go elsewhere,especially considering I got a frozen cake.

I had spent $8.00 on this slice of strawberry almond meringue slice to go. I was super excited to try it until I got home and noticed the mold on it. It's incredibly disappointing that they would still serve this to a customer, and that they failed to ensure that their products weren't full of mold. 0/10. Reserva una mesa ahora

My husband and I visited the restaurant on Saturday when there was live band music. The band was fantastic, and I highly recommend going on Saturday evenings. The prices are reasonable, and the food quality is excellent.

I like their peach tart and coffee. Delicious. A little pricey. Quiet. Friendly service. They have a band playing popular music on Saturday nights.

Jennifer and the team run an excellent store! Meringue cakes are to die for, on the pricier side but worth every penny.
