The key strength of this café is its general attention to detail. When I arrived and sat down, the table I was sat at had a menu laid out for me, cutlery on the table as well as a little pot of sugar if you were to order tea. I know that this may seem a minor point, but clearly, this place has immaculate attention to detail and knows how to get the basics right. There is no 'counter ' to order from, however the staff were on hand to take my order as soon as I wanted them to. I ordered the tuna crunch sandwich and a pot of tea, which I got for just under £10, which I thought was extremely reasonable. being here a few times, always had a good experience. if I had the full English today, I asked for 'no drilling' and the waiter asked me if I wished something different than replacement. Maybe it seems a little ding, but not many places do this nowadays. instead I had some nice grilled cherry tomatoes. service was friendly and attentive, eating came fast, all good quality, very well cooked, portions were just right and good value for money. all in all a particular recommendation.
for the first time visit today and definitiw not the last! for the small frit with a latte. beautiful thick speck, shluchtwurst, toast was also perfect! I'd rather have tinted tones instead of brazen, but that's just my personal preference. the staff was on the place, friendly and polite. can not wait to try anything else!
