This restaurant in Lincoln serves the best wood-fired pizza. I would even consider it one of the best in Italy! Simone, the host, is incredibly friendly and you can truly feel the passion he has for this place. The staff are also kind, friendly, and competent, showing their own passion for what they do. Simone offers a wide range of menu options with ingredients of the highest quality, sourced locally when possible. The restaurant perfectly combines Italian tradition with the flavors of Lincolnshire. This is definitely my favorite place to eat!
We hired out Caffe Portico to celebrate a 30th birthday, from the time we made the booking to the end of the evening celebrations the staff did all they could to make the celebrations go without a hitch and accommodated our music, lights and dancing! Delicious freshly made pizzas were brought out throughout the night. Thank you Sim and the team x
Jake Koffman UK Quartet evening.... the Tuscan pork and bean casserole is always amazing so the Saltimbocca alla romana was pick of the night following the lentil soup.....as expected it was all wonderful. Another great evening of food, wine, live music last night at Caffè Portico.
Fantastic salad options with infinite choices of toppings. I went for chicken, mozzarella and avocado with roast veg...so delicious. Top marks Portico as I have so often found salads to be a wet lettuce affair.

Love Cafe Portico staff, food, secret supper club, music nights..... Breakfast (the best scrambled eggs in town), lunch, quick coffee/cup of tea alone or with family/friends just fabulous.

The food is always fantastic and the atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. Their soups are the best I have ever tasted.
