The owner of this cafe is the rudest person I have ever encountered in hospitality. We used to go to this cafe weekly when it was owned by Maria and Rosa, when the service was amazing and the place was packed every day. Unfortunately when they left the new owner was rude and abrupt from the start and the coffee went downhill, but we persisted because it was a favourite spot, despite noticing it was getting emptier by the day. But as of today I will never go back. When I pointed out I was given the wrong order, simply the wrong type of tea, the owner actually yelled at me, insisting he was right and I was wrong. Rather than replacing a pot of tea, which would've cost them about 20c, he berate...

Caffeteca is a small cafe on the quiet end of Tynte St in North Adelaide. Hours are 7am to 4pm Monday to Saturday, so you won't be sitting down for dinner here. The menu is not extensive, however the food is exceptional and pricing is extremely competitive. This is the place to come for a light meal and excellent tea and coffee. You will be warmly welcomed, your order taken quickly and your coffee or tea will arrive barely before you have been seated, and the meal shortly afterwards.Be careful about parking, especially on weekends...this is a residential area, and many of the parking spaces are permit only. You'll find a place easy enough...just read the signage carefully to avoid inconvenien...

What a sensible little cafe. Well priced, quant size and friendly staff. The range of foods are small but the brioche with poached egg and crispy pancetta was a tasty little morsel at a reasonable price. I think that is why this place rates so well. It's away from the main N.Adelaide strip but across the road from a butcher and a baker (candle stick maker went bust). The coffee was on the stronger side but sometimes it's nice to break up what can sometimes be quite sweet coffees from many of the local roasters. I'm not sure on what beans they were but it was good good. <br/ <br/ Great little cafe for a quite Saturday morning. European in feel and menu and bypasses the big brekkies so many pl... This spot is tucked just off O'Connell St and is a great little cafe for breakfast and lunch. The coffee is smooth and the paninis are tasty! If you don't feel like putting up with hustle and bustle and prefer a relaxed coffee in the sun with friendly and efficient service from the staff, this spot is perfect.

An excellent little cafe that does everything simple at a good price. Spent $11 for breakfast here including coffee and left feeling quite content. If you're looking for something extravagant, look elsewhere - but if you want simple, friendly service and good food - this is the place to be.
