I’ve been to several Peruvian restaurants and have always had quick and quality service with exceptional dishes – reading these reviews, I was hopeful that Calletana’s would be the same. I hesitated to go inside after we noticed trash scattered across the front entrance. The greeting we received from the litter however seemed warmer than the service we experienced from the employee who was behind the counter when we first walked in. After asking if we could place our order, we waited for over ten minutes despite being the only people in line. When we finally decided to ask again, she stepped in the back room to grab another employee to help without ever once acknowledging us.We waited for ov...

We waited nearly an hour for our final dish while observing more than two dozen customers who arrived after us, placed their orders, and left with their food. It appeared that they didn't even start on our dish until they had cleared those other orders. Absolutely frustrating. When the empanada finally arrived, it was burned to a crisp on the bottom and completely inedible. At $6 for a single empanada, it was a huge disappointment. The few bites I managed to take were somewhat acceptable, but I was hesitant to eat much more. If they can’t manage to prioritize ticket orders properly, I can’t help but worry about how the food is being stored and prepared in the kitchen. I would recommend tryin...

I've dined at many authentic Peruvian restaurants in my life, and this one is, unfortunately, the worst I've ever encountered. It felt like a total waste of money. The Jalea was unappetizing, with a dark brown color that suggested it had been fried in dirty oil. The bistec a la probe was dry, the fries were undercooked, and the egg was simply unacceptable (how do you mess up an egg?). I can't recommend this place to anyone, and I certainly won't be ordering from here again. What a disappointing experience for my dinner. This restaurant doesn't even deserve a single star.

The food was enjoyable, and I appreciated the flavors. The addition of fries to traditional Peruvian cuisine felt a bit unusual, but since I like fries, I have no complaints. The staff were bilingual and helpful, which was a plus. There’s plenty of seating available both indoors and outdoors, and it's conveniently located right next to the convention center. The portion sizes are also good for the price. While the flavors were decent, I wouldn’t say it was outstanding—just a fulfilling, average meal that's hard to describe. Reserva una mesa ahora

The food was exceptional. Although they got my order wrong, the staff member who took it seemed to be new, so I don't hold it against them. Just be sure to double-check your order with them. The prices are quite reasonable. The empanadas were different from what I'm used to; they have a fluffier shell and are sprinkled with powdered sugar, but they were still really tasty.

Our family sampled a variety of dishes, and everyone was completely satisfied. The Lomo Saltado, Peruvian pesto pasta with steak, and ceviche mixto were definitely worth returning for! We also indulged in several desserts, and it was great to see that everyone had a different favorite. I can't describe the flavors, but we all loved them, along with the homemade drinks.

You might experience some wait times and may need to ask for things like dessert or drinks on your own, but it's definitely worth it. The food is absolutely delicious. We ordered the lomo saltado and flan, and the portions are generous—enough for two meals, so you can share or take leftovers home. The desserts are simply outstanding; you absolutely have to try them!

Really good food for a reasonable price. Big sized tamales with a side of marinated red onions. Lomo Saltado was good with plenty of meat...just a little too dry for my tastes. We'll come back again....maybe try their Ceviche. Reserva una mesa ahora

The restaurant offers genuine Peruvian cuisine at very reasonable prices. The service was attentive, and it’s a good idea to bring a Spanish-speaking friend to help with ordering. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
