My brother and I dined at the restaurant on Saturday, June 24. The food was excellent, and the customer service was outstanding. However, we encountered an issue with our credit card statements; both of us were charged a tip without our consent. Neither of us authorized this tip. I attempted to call the restaurant, but no management was available to discuss the matter. This situation is unacceptable. I would appreciate it if someone could contact me regarding this issue. I asked for the name of the supervisor, and they mentioned it could be either Pancho or Francelia. I would be grateful for their assistance in resolving this matter.
This place was pretty cool. It was recommended to me by a friend who grew up in Houston so I decided to give it a try. I tried the ribs and the brisket as well as the mac and cheese. I got some dry brisket to go for my pups. The food is amazing and the sauce is next level. My only complaint is that they don't sell the sauce to go in jars. I was on a road trip through town and couldn't take a styrofoam container full of sauce. But if you're local, you can definitely grab that. In my opinion, you really can't go wrong here.
Normally, we love this place and the food. But this past visit I had the chicken which comes as a half chicken and I don't normally eat breast so they gave me two highs and two legs instead, which were very small and overcooked. The barbecue sauce is nice, as is their side dishes, tea and banana pudding.
Carls BBQ is an old school restaurant, that has been serving consistent good BBQ since I was a child. One of those places that you can always go to be cause you what the quality and taste will be like. Hope they are around for a long time to come

This place is so awesome. The food is great. The people at work there are so nice. They go out your way to make sure that you get what you want and what you like.
My family has been visiting Carl’s for more than 15 years. It offers the best BBQ in Texas, hands down, and the service is outstanding!
The chicken dish was delicious and generously portioned. The staff was friendly, and the service was excellent.
The chicken fried steak was huge. The sides were very good. A good place for BBQ.
