Stayed at Premier Inn opposite. We had a meal when we arrived, waited an age for our food! The waitress looked clueless. The place looked like it needed an overhaul and there was food over the floor, very dangerous and could have caused a slip. The next evening we called in for a drink and was told if we weren't eating that we had to take our drinks into the bar area. What a dump that was, tatty settees, rubbish on the tables. We took our drinks to our room in the end.
Went for breakfast and was the worse breakfast I have ever had. The bacon is so dry. The bread is stale. All the continental breads are stale. The hot food tastes like yesterday’s left overs. So I thought as I haven’t ate any of the food. I’d have a banana in which was frozen. Defo would not recommend coming for breakfast
If you have an assistant dog don't bother coming here, they do not allow them unless they are for the blind of deaf. So if you have a service dog for medical reasons they will not allow them in even if you have the correct documents for your dog. Totally disgusted with them they made me feel so small and unwanted.
On holiday in the area so booked table for Sunday lunch at 3pm. We were just in luck as they only had enough for us. They only had the chicken and meat free option available as had been very busy earlier. We were looked after by Wendy and Victoria. Food was plentiful and hot. Had no room after for pudding. I little spontaneous detour for breakfast and it was lovely. Fairly priced, friendly efficient service, unlimited breakfast with a lovely continental selection. All enjoyed with a brew in the garden which in the sunshine was really lovely. We will definitely be going back.
Tables outside sadly in a very poor state, should be a nice area to sit and eednjoy the weather, tables filthy and covered in bird droppings, piles of cigarette butts left on on tables, needs a lot of attention, seems to be a large neglected space for smokers.
So noisy full of screaming kids, service was slow, meal arrived wrong and cold, sent it back for a new one. Steak was very chewy, not a nice experience and was not worth the money. I do not reccomended this place.
Stopped on my bike for a swift pint in the garden. Do they know that the yard broom has been invented! Shows a distinct lack of management. Come on Beefeater get a grip. Nice pint of Stella though. Reserva una mesa ahora
Make those portions any smaller Beefeater and it's not worth coming. I left after a 3 course meal hungry. Cut your portions and you will cut your customer service was excellent

"We went to Penrose Kitchen on the last night of my cousin's visit to Cornwall from Australia. Can't praise Sam, Ben and the staff highly enough! Relaxed atmosphere, fabulous food and great service. We'll definitely be back looking forward to next time!!"
