I recently visited the new Casey's on Route 49 just outside the Englewood Dayton area, and I had a disappointing experience. There were two twin employees who walked right past my son and me at the register, disregarding us completely as they continued their conversation. This went on for about eight minutes. Eventually, another employee who was on her break came over to help us, but by then there was quite a line. I usually like Casey's because they offer great prices, but these two employees were incredibly rude. It's frustrating to encounter such poor service, especially when it seems to be a repeated issue. I hope management addresses this situation, as it really detracted from my visit.
If I could give zero stars I would. The store manager has no idea what she is doing. The employees in the morning are great, but have zero direction. The brand new store is never stocked, and thus has to be losing tons in revenue. Many other Caseys around the area are great gas stations to go to. But this one, Ashley, the general manager has completely ran into the ground. She leaves on breaks to go home for hours on end, and doesn?t show back up for days. Our company and employees give this store $2500 each month and we are completely fed up with the upper management of this store. Something needs to be done.
I found the service at this restaurant to be quite disappointing. When I tried to pay for my gas, I was left waiting while a young lady at the register continued texting and scrolling on her phone, completely unaware of my presence. Seriously? It's unprofessional to be on your phone when customers are waiting to be served. I had to repeat myself several times because she was too distracted. This is a clear example of why Englewood and nearby towns struggle with their businesses—they seem to be hiring young people with little regard for work ethic.
Pretty big joke when it comes to staff. I just wanted to pay for my gas but I end up waiting for the young lady ringing me up to finish texting and reading her cell phone before she would even acknowledge my presence. Seriously? You don?t play on your phone when you have customers waiting to be cashed out. Had to repeat myself as well because she was too busy texting. This here is why englewood and neighboring towns are seriously slacking on their business. Hiring children with little to know work ethic whatsoever.

Stop accepting orders that you aren’t able to make in time this is the third time that I’ve tried to order a pizza and I made sure this time that I ordered in enough time and I still had to wait over 20 minutes just to go inside to be told that nobody even started on my food yet I was on my lunch break and I wasted 30 minutes of my lunch break to not only drive here but you also wait an extra 20 minutes for my pizza to come out. Absolutely ridiculous and horrible service.
Came in at 10 min til 11p on our way home Sunday July 14 2019 and was told laughingly by 2 employees that the kitchen was closed when we asked about getting a pizza. They then took the food out of the warmer to throw away before we could purchase those. We are from out of state passing through and was told this was a great place for pizza. I will never again come to this location. I wish I could give this negative stars bit 1 will have to do.
There’s consistently a line at the counter, and it seems that only one employee is taking care of customer registrations each time. Moreover, nobody seems to know how to load the receipt paper into the pumps, leading to frequent shortages. As a result, you often find yourself waiting, even just to check in.
It doesn't matter if this gas station is busy or not you're always going to wait at the cash register they're so slow! The manager here is horrible and I would not recommend going to Casey's on the corner of Union and Rte 49.

Pulled up at 9 pm on a Friday night. Canopy lights all on. Web says open till 10 pm. But 1/2 the lights inside are off and the store is closed.
