9/9 Wedding, Rehearsal, and Brunch hosted by The Castle with most of our family taking up the suites.A weekend that will forever fill my heart with gratitude. The Castle executed every part of my dream wedding even better than I could dream it. And those last minute hurdles: they handled them before we could even notice. My husband and I were looking for a place to spend a quiet, easy, relaxing weekend. We found this castle only an hour from NYC by train. The hotel has a spa, where we planned to have a massage and enjoy the facilities. Unfortunately we couldn't, because we didn't reserved before our visit. I was very disappointed, however we certainly would love to go back and try the spa again.We walked around the gardens, enjoyed the pool and whirlpool, the view of the Hudson River, complementary breakfast and, of course, the amazing room. It was my favorite place!! Check the pics, but let me say, it's much better in person!.
My kids and I spent a long weekend there in august 2023. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to help with even the smallest things. It’s clearly a well managed hotel. We had brunch on the Sunday which was a nice experience, the food was not better than many other places but the atmosphere and service was worth it all. My kids enjoyed the pool (with a bar! and the big chess game in the garden. Highly recommendable for both families and couples.
