When we first parked near this restaurant to walk down to the Source de la Loue, we assumed it would be a tourist trap. But on our way out, we were hungry enough to take the risk, and what an amazing and pleasant surprise! We were lucky that it was sunny and warm so we sat outside, but inside is charming with a fire and spotlessly clean toilets. The lovely waitress served us promptly and with a smile and was absolutely perfect throughout the meal. My smoked trout on salad was delicious and the salad was market fresh. My friends loved the house speciality of an open-face toasted sandwich with local cheese and sausage. The prices are more than reasonable. I imagine in busier months it fills up...

Contact usFor our hike, we planned to break the crust in this restaurant (history of having a few grams in months in the backpack). an ideal stop, because if you leave from mouth, approx. 1:30 to 1:45 a.m. after you arrive at the dam (if you don't get lost!). Unfortunately, on tripadvisor we didn't see the opening hour. and as most restaurants in the area have the weekly closure on Monday, we have sandwiches with us. Somewhere we read that the restaurant opens only from mid-April!When we arrived there we were so disappointed, because the restaurant was already open.We stopped for a little beer. We did well because the welcome was nice. To recommend without hesitation!
a great place to take a break to recover before or after a walk at the source of the loue. ratio quality incredible price in a beautiful and peaceful setting. we were there in the middle of the season and yet the atmosphere was really quiet and quiet. dishes are simple and really good, with good on the morbiloue, delicious and cheap. Very good artisanal ice cream, try the ice at the bunny bud, original and good. Smiling and very pleasant reception. a great discovery to advise strongly!

This is a nice little café to stop for refreshments when visiting La Source de La Loue or hiking in the area. My favorite dish is the MorbiLoue which is made with local cheese and ham. For cooler days there is a fire place and for hot sunny days a large outside seating area.
we went to lunch this day in this very well located restaurant (600 m from the source). The boss and the staff are extremely warm and comfortable. meals are copied and served quickly. the terrace is shaded either by trees or by parasols. As a bonus, impeccable toilets
I am amazed how few tourist cafes bother to open before the first of May in France. A holiday at Easter can leave you very hungry! This place is the exception however, excellent fast simple food and a log fire on a cold morning. Very welcome!

Ideally placed, this restaurant restored us at the end of our hike. Hot dishes at almost any time and fortunately for us ;-)
