The hotel is calm and well located. The room was clean but average. The biggest disappointment was the attitude of the staff, who clearly doesn't want to help or give any advise, claiming that they don't own the place and they don't want to make more effort than they're being paid for. I also wouldn't recommand the meals for dinner, particularly the veggies and the desert. On the contrary, the breakfast offers a lot of choice and some good quality products. The staff was different in the morning and more friendly. Rooms: The bedrooms are clean but average, not recommanded for a romantic trip. The view from the balcony is nice and the location is calm. We enjoyed our dinner though it would be exaggerate to call it a gastronomic fine dining restaurant. However, very good value for menu with the truite menu being below EUR30 and fresh very tasty! Moreover, the fois gras, the cheese and desserts were delicious. This is not a COVID compliant restaurant: waiters breaking the law by not wearing masks. Hence, fine for young guests but elderly should avoid this place if they want to stay alive maybe. To sum up, a great local/casual restaurant with great view (book the window tables) though the dining room is old and need renovation.
Situated with wonderful views across the valley, and staffed with very friendly and professional staff this is a lovely place too eat. The photos dont really do the interior justice as its really a pleasant , albeit slightly contemporary, décor, which combined with good service provides a very pleasant ambience to dine in. we both had a 4 course meal and found every course to be very good, with no complaints. Not cheap but not overpriced either, thoroughly recommended.
A perfect family meal for my mother's birthday! Another table next to us was for the waiting period between the dishes but in reduced number during our passage with a full room I think they make their maximum! This is an old fashioned french restaurant, the kind you dont really find anymore, the service is made up of an army of 'garçons ' and the food is freshly cooked and tasty. The decor is a bit dated but probably was quite refined in one point in time. Its worth a stop here for lunch or dinner if in the valley of la Loue.
There is nothing that we didn't like about this place . Probably the most scenic of all the hotels in this area , and family run . Cuisine excellent , and if you can get a window table looking over the gorge as the sun goes down , highly memorable . Good memories here , and would go again like a shot .
To celebrate our thirty years of marriage we were received as kings! We especially thank the manager for his kindness and professionalism. We highly recommend this hotel. We will return with pleasure. Isabelle and César
excellent cuisine with mainly regional products. I've been several times here and am each time surprised by the dishes. The presentation is really nice as well as the service.

Only concern the restaurant. Very good reception, beautiful panoramic room, varied map, excellent dishes. Very good value quality price. I recommend this restaurant.
