great food and service! my man wanted to try this place for some time since he saw that they had mojarra fritta on the menu. we came to lunch this afternoon and had no problems finding a table. my man ordered of course the mojarra fritta 12.99) and I ordered churrisco 14.99) the mojarra fritta is a deep fried bone in tilapia. it was perfectly cooked and had a good amount of taste. it came nice and hot, the skin was crispy and not soggy, and the meat was moist. my churrisco was also very good. the steak was tasteful and not excessively hard. the tortillas were hot and also had a nice taste. the chorizo was delicious. my husband still felt bite of it. we had the feeling that the prices and por...
I went to the restaurant and ordered takeout. My food was ready in less than 10 minutes, which was very fast. I ordered two tamales, one pork and one chicken, a grilled cheese, and horchata. The horchata was okay, but a bit watery. The pork tamale was good, but the chicken tamale had bones in every bite, some small and some large. The chicken was also dry. I had high hopes, but overall, I was not impressed.
The food was delicious, especially the Burrito that I ordered. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. Most of the waitresses did not speak fluent English, but fortunately, one of our group members from church was able to act as a translator. The restaurant is not very large and can feel a bit cramped, but there is plenty of parking available.
