Charlie's Trio Cafe

I really like Charlie's Trio and I'm glad it's in the neighborhood. Their chicken marsala is absolutely delicious. I always get it on a bed of sauteed vegetables instead of the pasta and their vegetables in the marsala sauce is a thing to behold. Absolutely delicious! Their pizzas are very good. They are certainly very well known for their broasted chicken which does not disappoint. I do need to say, however, that their garlic bread is pretty bland and their coleslaw is almost flavorless. When I get the family pack of broasted chicken I'm always disappointed to know that the coleslaw is largely going to go to waste and the garlic bread is merely passable. Was with some friends at the nearby motel and we needed a restaurant open in the later hours, and Charlie's was very ideal, being just across the street, so we paid a visit. Excellent atmosphere with that somewhat darker interior that befit the place, but very warm and welcoming in the staff and the service providers. I selected the cheese tortellini with pesto cream. It was a most appetising fare, and the bread sticks were hot and fresh, perfect for the leftover sauce on my plate. Many thanks to the chefs and other staff for a pleasant dining experience. We spent the day at Universal Studios and were tired hungry. Charlie's Trio is close to our hotel so we decided to try it. So glad we did! My wife and I and our 13-year-old twins were seated immediately and soon enjoyed some delicious garlic bread. The meals were very tasty and came out fast. The broasted chicken plate was 1/2 a chicken, pasta and veggies. For $14. One daughter had the spaghetti marinara, and the other daughter and I split the cioppino. Everything was wonderful, and our server Mila was great. We'll certainly come back the next time we're looking for a meal anywhere close to here.

I celebrated my nomination today in this great restaurant. I am glad to say that we passed a awesome evening and the restaurant was undoubtedly one of the reasons for the happy event. The team helped in a very nice style, the meals were extremely good and my guests were very delighted. We shall absolutely visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

Great atmosphere and solid food. Great steak but just an okay burger, in my opinion. My problem with the burger is the size of the actual burger compared to the bun the bun is way too big. Seafood dishes are very good too. Chicken Marsala is very mediocre. But great bar, nice drinks and overall a great place to spend part of your night.

This is run-of-the-mill Italian food that will work in a pinch. They've got all the basics pasta and pizza. None of the food here is amazing but you get a good deal for the price you pay. I would go here over Olive Garden any day

Great food. Our takeout order was ready and hot and the taste was just as good for dining at home as dining in. I highly recommend the chicken diavolo.

Best place to eat something when in a rush. The customer service is prompt, rates are affordable, good character. I highly recommend this spot.
