Chases On The Beach

I recently visited Chases On The Beach restaurant for the second time, and I noticed some positive changes. The restaurant now has a more refined look, resembling a fine dining establishment. There are seating options both inside with air conditioning and outside where you can enjoy the ocean breeze. However, I recommend staying inside as I was bitten by No-see-ums while sitting at the outdoor bar. Regarding the food, my review is based on the three appetizers I ordered: 1. Bourbon Chicken Satay: Unfortunately, this dish was dry, and the sauce was too sweet for my taste. 2. Bacon Wrapped Shrimp: This dish was okay, but nothing exceptional. 3. Chase’s is attempting to step up their game since re-opening. Unfortunately, it seems like our server hadn’t gotten the message. We were a 4 top last night (Saturday) and we all had respectable food/presentation; our server really was the issue. She apparently would’ve rather been anywhere than at Chase’s and came across with a very bad attitude. I can’t even tell you her name as she never told us to begin with. We were all disappointed with the service but will def give them another chance.

We have been coming to NSB for 45 years. Chases has been up and down but now, after their renovations, they’ve stepped up the food! It’s very good! Try the peal and eat shrimp, you won’t be disappointed!!!
