Great news, Domont is under new management and back to its old glory. Only open Friday to Sunday but we were there for a wonderful lazy lunch yesterday. Instead of being told to go away as with the last team, there is a huge Welcome sign on the lawn and the whole place was buzzing with activity. They brought us to our table and the manager came out to shake hands and welcome us this despite being very very busy. The incredible surroundings have even been improved upon. There has always been the great views and the shade of the huge trees around the outside of the castle now they have added lots of animals and activities for kids to enjoy. As you approach the old chateau you would be excused for expecting quite and exceptional setting it is not every day that one lunches in a chateau. The ambience is therefore a little disappointing rustic and casual rather than palatial. But food and service were good. A excellent perche meuniere accompanied by exceptional fried potatoes. This is preceded by a simple mixed salad in a tasty, tangy vinaigrette. As mentioned, service was good and very friendly, though we did have to wait a long time for our bill and remind our waitress. Good value for Switzerland.
on google the opening hours do not correspond to the site. The daily menu displayed at the entrance is not served in the evening, but on Google the opening indicated for Thursday is 5:30 p.m. The röstis served remind us of the “leftovers” from the daily menu which is not served. We would have liked to see the castle's dining room, but we were unable to enter because the restaurant was closed (it was 6 p.m. . Too bad, we had planned a family outing. Otherwise, the terrace is in an idyllic setting.

For the first time we had a superb surprise. Magnificent setting Excellent meal Top service served with lots of good humor. Really nothing to complain about. Just a small downside, no payment by card. But announced when booking. So nothing serious
