My wife, three daughters and I had the worst restaurant experience ever at CheZelles. I have never been so rudely treated and then publicly shamed in front of my children and other people in the restaurant. Here are the details: We were...walking through old Vence looking at menus as we were trying to decide on a restaurant for dinner. We looked at a Tapas menu and as we were reviewing a women came over and began speaking with us and then hurried us to a nearby table. She immediately asked us for a drink order and then passed us the dinner menu. While visiting Vence and nearby Saint-Paul De Vence, which are a must see if you are in the Cote D'Zur or Nice area. Anyway, we stumbled on this place tucked away in an alley in the middle of the very charming town of Vence. Food...is Mediterranean, focusing on provincial Armenian dishes. Very authentic and absolutely delicious. Service is excellent also. They have nice patio seating, though make sure to check the chaor before you sit, the local kitty seems to have his pick of them to take his naps...Very charming place, only a minute drive from Nice.
My companion and I stumbled on this restaurant, and as I am Armenian we decided to give it a try for a late lunch. Everything was fresh and tasty, the setting outside on a square was very pleasant, and the service was friendly and helpful....We didn't try any hot dishes, but all the starter-type dishes were very well prepared. Yes, they have a minimum. If you don't want to pay a minimum you eat somewhere else. Yes, they primarily speak French; they are in France.
this is an Armenian restaurant with fantastic eating. we sat outside, because the restaurant is quite small, but on the square this adds to the ambiente. the starter, a selection of meze) was excellent. beautifully freshly tasted and elegantly served. the main part was very tasty, a selection of grilled meat. the service was a bit slow, but we were not in a hurry. good it was worth hunting this place

we came to an evening meal with an extended family and what a meal! we shared a great mezey and then had some meat. every element of the meal was super, and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. brigitte was above all one. miraculous host! we will certainly return when we are in vence.
It’s the type of cuisine that made us sit in this restaurant. The welcome is friendly and our order quickly taken.The Armenian cuisine was unknown to our taste buds, we were guided. It was a great discovery. dishes, seasoned and spicy perfectly had perfumes of travel. We had a very nice evening.
totally rude fellow workers who give them grieving when they feel they have not ordered enough. really unpleasant experience and now read other guests experience, do not seem to have learned anything from these reviews. really bad.
always excellent Armenian cuisine. and evening quality show with the voice sosi of aznavour charles. memorable for the ear as for the palace, and the warmth of the heart as a bonus!
