BANNED INDEFINATELY FROM CHIANTI GRILL!!! My wife and I love Chianti Grill in Roseville. We are there for dinner at least once a month (if not more) and have been dining there for many, many years. Great food, great wine and, almost always, great service. Unfortunately, in early May we had one of those nights where the food was uncharacteristically slow and when I mentioned it to the bartender/server she was totally defensive and made both my wife and me feel that she couldn’t care less about our concern. A few weeks later we went back and had another fabulous night at Chianti Grill. We had a reservation for yesterday when the General Manager called to let me know that my wife and I are BANN...
Food was fantastic. Service was great. Hostess was incompetent. A friend of mine works here. I requested to be seated in their section on August, 14. I drove across the metro to be seated in my friends section. My friend confirmed with the hostess that we were sitting in their section. We show up and got put in someone else's section because the hostess failed to verify the notes in our reservation. I don't cause issues at restaurants because I used to work in one but next time I go to this restaurant I'll be more assertive.
This past Sunday evening I enjoyed a splendid pre dinner Bees Knees cocktail. My Penne Toscana was superb. I was part of an eight person party and our server, Maddie, was expert. She kept our dinner flowing. We had a great time at Chianti Grill and will be back.
This is our Cheers place as the staff always knows our name. We go there frequently as there is a variety of dishes and have not had a bad meal. Despite the name they have much more than Italian food.

The food was very good. The atmosphere was lovely. And our server was fantastic. I had the seafood cannelloni. The sherry cream sauce was so delicious, and it was chockful of awesome seafood.
Had a drink and dinner at the bar. The bartender was great. Had the Chicken Sorrento. It was really good. So much food I had lunch the next day too.
Our server, John was amazing. So friendly and funny. He's a true asset to the service industry.

Great food and service. Little spendy but worth it. Portions were just about right
Flatbread was good but flavor was plain. Service was very good.
