I had a delicious breakfast at this restaurant. There were a variety of items on the plate, all cooked perfectly. The menu had a wide selection of options, including tasty cakes. The restaurant is conveniently located on the main road with ample parking. The owner and staff were very friendly, and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely be returning to try more delicious dishes from the menu in the future.
We were staying at the Alara Motor Inn (see separate review), and the Chick A Dee is about a block and a half southwards along Nebo Road (same side). The ladies there are just the friendliest, and most helpful. For my 80+yo mum, self and wife, we had half a chicken, plus roast vegies for $11.50 more than we could reasonably eat! Certainly better than the other chicken chains available in Mackay (my opinion).
I 've been going to a ' Chick-a-Dee ' takeaway shop on Nebo Rd. In Mackay, Nth Qld Australia for more than 30 years. The lady owner, even that aged like myself! , is very friendly and polite, and she always trains a new young staff to serve well to all the customers. Freshly made sandwiches
The picking up the phone so I could order seemed a little slow but the 2 ladies in there when i picked up had good time mgmnt moved seamlessly between ph, serving preparation. First take away I have had in a long time and it was a very fresh, delicious works burger. Reserva una mesa ahora
Large lil cafe first place came to Mackay for dinner the boss was a nice lady and especially with the staff very friendly would recommend for everyone coming here and get food
Stopped right out front and was immediately served. No trouble to make up a fresh hot dog for my fussy ASD daughter. Large drink selection and food was great, thanks!
When we lived in Mackay we always stopped for hot chooks on the way home and also if we just wanted to get good healthy food made fresh and served by friendly staff.
