The cheeseburger with secret sauce was both juicy and delicious, providing excellent value for the price. However, I found the $1.50 charge to upgrade to a salad instead of fries to be unjustified. The salad was surprisingly small—I had anticipated a standard side salad. Next time, I think I’ll just go for the fries and save myself the $1.50.
Chili's consistently offers excellent flavors, but today we were disappointed. For the first time, the broccoli was excessively crunchy, almost to the point of being too much. While some might like it that way, we’ve always appreciated the tender, flavorful broccoli they typically serve. We hope this change isn’t permanent.
The food was average, but the service was prompt. Although my server did their job adequately, it felt like the majority of the staff were disengaged and seemed to want to be elsewhere. This lack of enthusiasm and connection with their work or customers appears to be a growing trend in the post-COVID era.
