If there was an option for 0 star I’d be giving them one . The amount of disgust that place holds is crazy . Not only have I’ve been craving chinese food for a year now the first time I get it theres a ROACH IN MY FOOD!!!! NOT ONLY WAS THE LADY RUDE WHEN I CAME IN AND ASKED FOR A REFUND she continued to take the bug out of the chicken and rub her fingers together and say “the way it’s crusting shows it’s not a bug” .. IF IT WAS FRIED CHICKEN THAT HAD A BUG IN IT OBVIOUSLY ITS GOING TO CRUST APART LIKE THAT BECAUSE THE BUG WAS FRIED . The amount of stupidity and ignorance that lady had is unbelievable. 30 years ago, I lived in New York and fell in love with Chinese Food there. I’ve been living in Texas for the last 26 years and 4 years ago my family and I came to Venice to see family. As soon as I saw the China King store front, it reminded me of my time in New York. When we tasted the Pork Fried Rice and Boneless Pork Ribs ….? I had a Ratatouille (Disney Food Movie) moment. It took me back to my late teens and early twenties when I first found great Chinese Food! It’s expensive to do, but my family and I fly here as often as we can to eat at China King. I wish we could talk them into moving to Texas.

The China King always has great, freshly cooked Chinese Food. They never disappoint with consistently delicious food! The Crab Rangoons and Fried Dumplings are terrific. My personal favorite is the Shrimp Fried Rice and for just a little more I like to add extra shrimp.

We order from here regularly and absolutely love it! They are consistently on point- clean, good food, correct orders, and timely. They can get a little bogged down on Friday night so plan ahead! Furthermore, they are the nicest people! Reserva una mesa ahora

Good food, nice people, great takeout when you don't want to cook! Love their eggrolls, wonton soup, and my favorite is Happy Family! My husband loves the pork egg fu yung and hot/sour soup.

Moved here from NYC with best Chinese food. Bravo China King! Great food. Dumplings in particular! We’ll be regulars as your food is savory and comparable to what we’ve had in the City.

That’s a bug in my wife’s food. I will never eat here again. Also will be contacting the Sarasota county health department. No one should ever be served this.
